FR-01

This is the story of the big friendship between Pasquale d’Alessandro and Fabio Russo. In 2004 Pasquale started the building of his own ultralight. He started to find a friend to fly together in weekends… In 2005 started also the activity of Fabio Russo as TECNAM engineer working on P2006T project with other 6 people directed by Luigi Pascale.
In February 2006 Pasquale (1974) met Fabio (1983) and they started to fly together around Italy and Europe watching the most important aviation expos and exhibition like Red Bull Airrace.
In the summer of 2008 Fabio told Pasquale about a little aircraft that he designed and ask him to build it in DALLAIR. The aircraft drawings become real components in September 2008 when the fuselage truss welding was started. In three weeks Pasquale completed the fuselage truss and all the jigs to weld it. Fabio worked hard during all the evenings and weekend at the first aircraft with his and his friend name: DALLAIR FR-01.
